XENON release new 8 way server : Krypton Octo XF2

XENON® new Krypton OCTO XF2 features 8 AMD® Opteron 8000 series processors delivering up to 32* cores and 256GB memory in a single enterprise server.MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA. (July 15th, 2007) – XENON today announce the release of their new 8-way high-performance server solution, the Krypton OCTO XF2, designed specifically for powering applications such as; virtualisation and server consolidation, databases including MySQL and MS SQL Server, web application infrastructure , ERP, CRM, data warehousing, analytics and enterprise collaboration.
The new platform features up to 8 AMD® Opteron 8222 3GHz dual core processors, providing a staggering total of 16 cores and 256GB memory capacity, expandable to 32 processors cores with the release of the AMD 8300 series Barcelona processors. The Krypton OCTO XF2 can improve certain application performance by 50 percent. Other benefits include:
