XENON Is Heading to AI Summit Australia — and We’re Bringing Practical AI to the Stage
11 Aug 2026
Join us in Melbourne on 7–9 September 2026 as we sponsor, showcase and take the stage at one of Australia’s leading AI and data centre events.
Something significant is happening in Melbourne this September.
AI Summit Australia, co-located with Data Centre World Australia, is coming to the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre from 7–9 September 2026. Organised by Informa Australia, the two events bring together more than 1,000 data centre and AI leaders from across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
XENON will be there as the official Start-Up and Innovation Sponsor alongside our partner NVIDIA®, bringing practical AI infrastructure, emerging technology and real-world expertise to the programme.
Here’s what we have planned.
Startup & Innovation Showcase: Five Start-ups, Five Minutes, Five Slides
On Tuesday 8 September, XENON and NVIDIA will host the Startup & Innovation Showcase from 12:30pm to 2:30pm in the Showcase Theatre.
Five AI start-ups will take the stage in a 5 × 5 format: five minutes and five slides each.
The format is designed to get straight to the work. Founders will share the problems they are solving, the approaches behind their products, their AI capabilities and model choices, along with technical detail, examples and demonstrations.
Nadine “Noodles” Groves and Joao Almeida will represent XENON at the showcase, bringing together founders, innovators and technology leaders for a closer look at what is actually being built with AI.
If you’re working on AI, deploying it across your organisation or simply interested in what the next generation of AI companies is building, this is a session worth making time for.

The AI Bubble: Real or Imagined?
On Wednesday 9 September at 11:25am, Nadine “Noodles” Groves (inset), Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Natural Velocity, will moderate The AI Bubble: Real or Imagined? at AI Summit Australia.
The panel will look beyond the hype and examine the gap between AI’s promise and measurable results.
Topics include the productivity gains organisations can realistically expect, the possibility of a dot-com-style correction, and what increasingly capable AI models could mean for SaaS providers and technology buyers.
With AI investment accelerating across industries, understanding where genuine value is being created will be just as important as understanding what the technology can do.

Joao Almeida on Stage: Powering AI at Scale
Later on Wednesday, from 1:55pm to 2:40pm, XENON’s GM and Director of Global Business, Joao Almeida (inset), will join the Renewables, Clean Energy and Data Centre Sustainability panel at Data Centre World.
The session will tackle some of the infrastructure challenges that come with scaling AI, including renewable variability, battery storage and hybrid energy solutions, water use and nuclear as a potential power option for data centres.
As demand for AI infrastructure continues to grow, the question is no longer simply how to build more capacity. It is also how to power that capacity sustainably and reliably.
Register NowWhy This Event Matters
AI Summit Australia and Data Centre World Australia bring together the technology, infrastructure and business perspectives shaping the next phase of AI adoption.
The combined programme explores the practical challenges behind AI deployment, from productivity and technology investment through to data centre infrastructure, energy, sustainability and the systems required to support AI at scale.
For XENON, these are challenges we have been working with for more than 25 years. Our experience across HPC, AI infrastructure, servers and workstations gives us a practical perspective on what it takes to turn ambitious AI projects into working systems.
This is also why the Startup & Innovation Showcase matters. The next stage of AI will not be defined by models alone. It will be shaped by the organisations, engineers and infrastructure that turn those models into useful applications.
