XENON distributes the XENOptics Smart Optical Switch (XSOS) line of solutions in Australia and New Zealand, providing fibre networking automation. The XSOS breaks new ground by replacing manual Optical Distribution Frames and patch panels with a system that can be fully automated and remotely managed via web based software. XSOS delivers superior optical performance and complete traffic protection while allowing for full remote configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance operations.
Remote Automated Fibre Management
The XENOptics Smart Optical Switches (XSOS) provide complete remote automation and management of fibre optics networks. The XSOS solution employ a unique, patented cross connect that enables fibre optics network managers to:
- Reconfigure fibre connectivity securely, flexibly and dynamically.
- Remotely manage and document fibre inventory and connectivity.
- Remotely test and generate real-time measurements of network performance.
- Implement software defined networking infrastructure across all network layers, including the physical layer.
The ability to manage infrastructure efficiently and remotely significantly reduces both OPEX and CAPEX across fibre networks.
The XSOS range provides a field scalable, high density solution in a standard 19 inch standard rack format. The XSOS range is suitable for data centers, telecommunications and geographically remote fibre optic infrastructure. The XSOS switches and software enable full remote control and automation of fibre cross-connects, provisioning and maintenance.
Robotic Cross-Connect
Part of the patented innovation in the XSOS is the robotic cross-connect which allows for remote control of your fibre switch. More reliable than MEMs mirror technology, the robotic mechanisms in the XSOS range ensure a positive fibre-to-fibre connection.
An Expanding Range
