Updated Range of XENON Servers and Workstations
XENON has recently updated and streamlined our range of servers and workstations, with new model configurations.
Doing this, we have kept the familiar names and added one new one:
- NITRO™ for our workstations,
- RADON™ for our Intel based servers,
- KRYPTON™ for our AMD based servers,
- ARGON™ for the new NVIDIA Grace and Grace Hopper servers.
Across the lines, you’ll find consistency in the naming and numbering of our model as well. Solo and Duo models have either one or two CPUs respectively. Within a family, the series names 100’s and 300’s represent entry and mid-level servers designed for everyday workloads and applications. While more advanced 500’s series servers include more powerful CPUs, more memory options, more storage options, and include space for GPUs or FPGAs. Four digit server names such as the RADON Duo R1010 or R3010 reflect the higher capacity dual processor servers.
For the NITRO workstations, we continue the theme with 100’s 300’s and 500’s being entry level, mid-range and high performance systems respectively.
Custom Configurations
A key XENON point of different is that we work with our customers to deliver infrastructure that meets their workload requirements, and also their budget!
Our systems are engineered for lasting performance, and use best of breed components sourced from a number of leading manufacturers. For each of the models, customers have a range of choices in CPUs, memory configurations and storage options – not to mention GPU choices.
XENON provides expert advice on which system is best for your specific workloads and planned applications. And we often beat the leading OEM manufacturers prices by 15% or more for comparably spec’d systems.
We build your system to order, and run-in and thoroughly test your system in our production facility in Melbourne. The XENON team can even install your operating system and a range of software such as NVIDIA’s Enterprise AI suite, and provide remote access for your team if required. This ensures that there are no DOA’s or delays in putting your new system to work once it arrives at your premises.
Warranty, Support, Personal Service
XENON provides a range of warranty and support options, some of which are dependent on the system configurations, and can run from 1 to 3 or 5 years. Most common is the next-business-day parts on site, which includes a technician to replace the faulty or broken component. Some highly customised solutions, such a water cooled GPU workstation require a return-to-base warranty, as these systems are too complex for field technicians to operate on!
XENON provides personalised support for all our customers, for all our systems. When you contact support, you are speaking to the team which built your system and knows the componentry literally “inside and out”. No third party, overseas call centres, just old fashioned, quality support and service. It’s what we expect and we deliver day in and day out.
