It combines ultra-fast NVMe storage with RDMA (Remote Direct Memory Access) over InfiniBand or Ethernet to achieve sub-100µs latency and multi-terabyte per second throughput across clusters.

Purpose-built for AI pipelines, PEAK:AIO supports parallel file access with a POSIX-compliant interface, while internally optimising for GPU-to-storage data paths using zero-copy techniques and intelligent I/O scheduling. It dynamically balances data across nodes using a distributed metadata service, enabling horizontal scaling without performance degradation.

Designed to eliminate I/O bottlenecks, it leverages NUMA-aware architecture and CPU offloading to maintain low overhead even during peak concurrency. Native support for Kubernetes, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and NVIDIA GPUDirect Storage ensures seamless integration into modern AI and MLOps stacks. Storage protocols include NFS and NVMe-oF, with more on the roadmap for 2025.
